The secret is out…less is more.
The problem is, decluttering is hard.
You start out motivated and work hard to declutter & organize your home.
But there’s SO MUCH else you have to do each day.
It can start to feel overwhelming!
It doesn’t have to be that way.
(I can help!)
Hi there. I’m Mindy and I’m so glad you’re here!
I want to help you achieve and maintain a clean, decluttered home, and organized life, in LESS TIME!
Creating a clutter-free, relaxing home while juggling a multitude of responsibilities is no easy task.
I’ve helped friends and family and neighbors declutter and organize for as long as I can remember.
And I can help you, too!
I love helping women just like you,
with easy-to-stick-to decluttering solutions
and daily routines.
Want to know more?
I wasn’t “born organized”. I spent years learning all the tips and tricks and hacks, and practicing what I learned.
But it was a bit of a never-ending cycle of organizing and re-organizing and re-organizing.
Some of it was circumstantial. We are a military family that moves every four years or so. And we are a homeschool family, with all the accompanying books and supplies and (sometimes) craziness.
But we all have circumstances that make it difficult to do everything we want to do, to achieve everything we want to achieve, and to be everything we want to be, as a wife, as a mom, and as a woman.
Organizing things was how I dealt with my own circumstances.
But nothing ever just stayed organized.
Even when we eventually moved into a spacious home, I was still re-organizing our stuff far too often, trying to keep our home and busy life under control.
Soon after, I found myself overwhelmed by new responsibilities and circumstances. Order at home took a backseat and things quickly fell apart without my constant cleaning and organizing.
It took two more years for me to realize it was time for a new approach.
Ok, maybe not actual minimalism. More like wanna-be minimalism, and in the meantime, family life with less – a lot less!

In 2011, I reached the point where I could no longer juggle all I was responsible for and keep our home in order too.
It was just too much.
I struggled along for another two years then came up with a new plan.
Enough with the organizing! I decided to try decluttering instead. I mean serious decluttering.
I set a goal to declutter and donate half of our stuff.
Determined to get rid of everything we no longer needed or loved, I got to work.
Hubby and the kids gave input when it came to their stuff.
It took a year and a half. This kind of decluttering is no weekend project!
When we were done, we sold our home and moved into one less than half the size.
Don’t get the wrong idea. Our home is by no means empty.
In our massive decluttering process, we only got rid of things we didn’t love, use, or need.
And after decluttering thousands of pounds of clothes, housewares, and general clutter, we haven’t missed or needed a single item.
I rarely need to organize anymore. Closets and drawers don’t need to be perfectly organized when there’s plenty of space for what’s left.
Without so much excess stuff in our life, it’s easier than ever to maintain a clutter free home.
And I’m able to keep our small home clean with a few, quick tasks each day.
Now I have more time for the things I really want to do!
